Michael Lynch
Michael started piano lessons at 5 yrs. of age and played in brass bands at school. He also studied classical guitar and then went on to the NSW conservatorium of music where He studied jazz and improvisation. Because of Mick's prolific reading ability, he spent many years working on cruise ships backing cabaret artists & shows of all kinds.
Weather as a freelance musician or permanent member, Michael has played with many bands and Acts, including 60's artists Col Joye, Lonnie Lee, Little Patty, Dennis Wilson [deltoids], Swanee, and `the Allan Barnes band', and has toured with Angela Ayers as her musical director.
Mick also played with King Cobra who recorded the sound track for the Aussie film Stanley,
Michael has played harmonica for the ABC shows `The flying vet' & `bush tucker man' and He has recorded with Wendy Saddington, Margaret Roadnight, Sally King, Kate Dunbar, Don Hopkins Jeannie Lewis, Kate Meehan and 2 Finn albums.
Dexterity is Michael's middle name and He has been known to play other instruments including mandolin, banjo, ukulele, balalaika, Tuba & cornet/trumpet as well as the bass guitar and six-string guitar.
